Sabai Herbal Ball

Commonly used in Thailand to open the body’s energy channels, these herbal compresses are made of a heavenly mixture of warming herbs called luk pra kob that’s wrapped in white cotton fabric tied up with string.  Their heady citrus-ginger scent is simply marvelous.  Using a traditional recipe of the Wat Po temple in Chiang Mai, the balls are handmade in women’s co-ops in Thailand with strict attention to their purity. 

Organically grown regenerating herbs in the ball include tumeric, kaffir lime, tamarind, lemongrass, camphor and ginger that detoxify and tone the skin.  Anti-inflammatory properties make the herbal ball helpful for conditions like arthritis or over-used muscles.  Clients will take them home after their treatment to use in the bath or shower.
